There was a girl who wanted to paint the world in magic. She realized that there were multiple ways to do this, and as she grew, her world expanded. Until she discovered code. It was magical -- a feeling close to learning the secret of using electrons, protons and neutrons to make atoms. Who wouldn’t love to play with the building blocks of the world?
I’m the girl who wants to paint the world with magic. The girl who wants to turn code into narrative. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Miami Coding Bootcamp, a Font End Web Developer and aspiring Game Developer.

The places I've been inspire that places I'll go. Through each experience I grow and learn. I find myself in unexpected places. Who knew my love of art and story would one day merge into a love of code?
My first job taught me team work and responsibility. I kept it cool and professional under high volume stress while delivering energetic costumer service. It illuminated my natural leaderships skills. Most importantly, it sparked the fires of my ambitions. It taught me to want and strive for more, helping me move from Team Member to Shift Leader in a matter of months.
Working at Regions expanded my awareness and attention to detail. I’ll never forget the time my drawer came up 3672 short because the scanner misread a check for 4080 for 408. It was probably my first lesson in computer science. I was forever amazed at how the smallest computer, and human, error could have the most drastic consequences.
My current job is a lesson in time management. There are perhaps few things more important in a law firm than deadlines. Building on a foundation of skills gained and honed through my past experiences, I work hard with my team to ensure that all departments move files quickly and accurately to meet client and court deadlines.
University of Miami Coding Bootcamp, Coral Gables -- Certificate -- An intensive 7 month long bootcamp dedicated to designing and building web applications. This course focused on Javascript and student collaboration.
I'm continuing to learn and grow. To further my knowledge and practice, I'm currently taking classes through edX. These classes include Havard's cs50x, Microsoft's Intro to React.js, Advanced CSS, and jQuery. As well as University of Michigan's Into to User Experience. I'm also looking into starting my AWS Certificate.
